Calls for action

Legislators who attend e-Parliament hearings sometimes agree that there is a need for coordinated international action on a specific policy. If this is the case, then the e-Parliament can publish a ‘Call’ on this website.

Once the Call has been published on the website, the e-Parliament emails legislators asking them to sign. In addition, details of the Call are sent to news organisations and individual citizens are also urged to sign.

Names are listed on the calls in a particular order: legislators are listed first, followed by organisations, journalists and citizens.

The e-Parliament has so far published two Calls which are both ongoing:

- the Call for Clean Energy Supergrids

- the Call for eFreedom
